Cleanliness and safety

The houseboats are frequently sterilized.
The houseboat crew and passengers must adhere to strict social distancing rules.
During the trip, tourists are not permitted to visit Kuttanad Village.
As per the regulations set by the authorities, houseboats are allowed to cruise between 9 A.M. and 5 P.M. only.
Houseboat operators who violate the COVID-19 restrictions face severe consequences.
The District Collector has assigned sectoral magistrates to Finishing Point and Pallathuruthy to look for operators that don't adhere to the regulations.
Travellers must show a COVID-19 negative PCR test certificate at entry. Registration can be completed here.
Quarantine is required if the person develops COVID-19 symptoms while in Kerala, and their return will certainly be delayed until they test negative again. Travel should be avoided by those who are having symptoms.
